Michael Jewitt’s strategy in every family law case revolves around
two things: respect and solutions. Michael honors the importance of family
and the emotional nature of a family law matter as he works on strategic
solutions for his client.
While all family law matters present different challenges, Michael believes
that every case at its core is about protecting clients and their families.
He therefore places high importance on building a close relationship with
his clients as he works with them to resolve problems together.
“There are not always perfect solutions, but with careful planning
and consideration, there are most often very effective solutions,”
says Michael. “I help clients find those best solutions within each
part of the process.”
Michael is also sensitive to issues that can make a case more challenging,
from disability, illness, and addiction, to the unique issues service
members and military families face in a legal matter.
Michael lives in South Lake Union with his fiancée and their two
dogs, Marci and Jake. He loves to kayak in the San Juan Islands where
he keeps his boat and has a penchant for historical non-fiction.
