We’re thrilled to share that McKinley Irvin has been ranked #3 among Washington’s Best Workplaces for 2026 in the midsize companies category by Puget Sound Business Journal.
We’re proud of the ranking, but there’s another number that means just as much to us: 93.34, our highest employee survey score ever.
Washington’s Best Workplaces is based on confidential feedback from employees about their experience at work. This year, 73 McKinley Irvin employees participated, and some of the results made us especially proud:
- 100% said they feel like they belong at McKinley Irvin.
- 100% said people at the firm treat each other with respect.
- 100% said they can depend on their teammates.
- 98.6% said they are proud to work here.
- 98.6% would recommend McKinley Irvin as a great place to work.
Our People Say It Best
The numbers are wonderful, but the comments tell the story even better.
“McKinley Irvin is a truly special place to work. People are valued here, and the work we do is recognized and appreciated. There is a strong culture of respect, collaboration, and professionalism.”
Another employee shared:
“Rarely is a law firm so cooperative as a team rather than individuals pursuing their own objectives.”
That spirit of teamwork came through again and again in the survey. Employees talked about feeling supported, valued, and connected to their coworkers and the meaningful work we do for our clients.
A Culture We Create Together
Great workplaces don’t happen by accident. We invest in professional development, technology, flexibility, employee recognition, and opportunities to connect and have fun. And, based on this year’s survey comments, we should keep investing in snacks, too.
But ultimately, people create culture.
It’s the colleague who jumps in when someone needs help, the manager who cares about the person as much as the work, and the teams across our offices and departments who understand that we succeed together.
One employee captured it beautifully:
“McKinley Irvin stands out because it pairs high standards with genuine care. People are supported, collaboration is real, and there’s a shared commitment to doing meaningful work for our clients.”
We’re incredibly proud to once again be recognized among Washington’s Best Workplaces and even prouder that our employee survey score reached a new firm high.
Thank you to the people who make McKinley Irvin what it is. This recognition belongs to all of you.
