David Starks Named 2022 Family Law “Lawyer of the Year”

We are proud to announce that Best Lawyers® has named David Starks the 2022 “Lawyer of the Year” for family law in the Seattle Metro Area.

David is a fellow with the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) and a recognized leader on international family law issues, difficult custody disputes, and dissolutions involving significant financial assets and business interests.

Best Lawyers selects only one “Lawyer of the Year” for each practice area and geographic location, making this accolade particularly significant. This honor is given to the attorney who received the highest overall peer feedback. While this is his first time as the recipient of “Lawyer of the Year,” David has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America® for 10 consecutive years.

David is the fourth attorney at McKinley Irvin to be recognized as a Family Law Lawyer of the Year, following Elizabeth Michelson in 2017, Marc Christianson in 2015, and Gordon Wilcox in 2012.

This recognition is a tribute to David’s exceptional record for results. Congratulations, David, on this well-deserved honor.
