Rainer Frank is known for his meticulous preparation, strategic insight, and unwavering commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for his clients. He represents individuals in complex and high-asset divorces, including those involving business valuations, retirement and investment accounts, and intricate property divisions. Rainer also has significant experience in gray divorce cases and in matters involving clients with military service backgrounds.
With decades of experience, Rainer helps clients navigate major life transitions with clarity and confidence.
“Every client’s situation is unique,” he says. “My role is to listen carefully, provide honest guidance, and help them make well-informed decisions for their future.”
The son of a retired Marine Corps officer and country lawyer in southwest Ohio, Rainer learned early the importance of integrity, diligence, and empathy in the practice of law. Before becoming an attorney, he worked in a range of physically demanding jobs, from farm and factory work in Germany to running a skeet and trap club and rowing at Brown University. These experiences shaped his strong work ethic and respect for people from all walks of life.
Rainer earned his degree from Brown University that included a year at the University of Durham in England and later studied at the University of Passau in Bavaria. Fluent in German and deeply connected to his European roots and military family heritage, he brings cultural understanding, ethical grounding, and strategic focus to every case.
When not in the office, Rainer enjoys hiking, kayaking the San Juans, and exploring the local mountains with his family—pursuits that reflect his dedication, balance, and sense of adventure.
