Tacoma, WA – May 19, 2025 — McKinley Irvin announces that Kimberly Brown has joined the firm as Of Counsel. Based in the firm’s Tacoma office, she will represent family law clients throughout King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties.
Brown brings significant litigation experience and is recognized for her strategic approach, strong courtroom presence, and focus on client communication. Her practice covers a broad range of family law matters, with particular emphasis on representing men and fathers in complex custody disputes. She is also skilled in high-stakes settlement negotiations and frequently advises high-net-worth individuals on financial and parenting matters in divorce.

Brown earned degrees in Psychology and African American History and Culture, which inform her understanding of mental health, special needs, and cultural and family dynamics. Prior to entering legal practice, she worked in corporate travel, retail, and image consulting. These experiences contribute to her client service philosophy.
