Jason Holloway
Associate
Jason Holloway is an associate attorney at McKinley Irvin. He was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and comes from a family of attorneys. Jason received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Bard College in upstate New York and, before starting law school, spent several years working in human resources management and professional recruiting. Jason received his law degree from Willamette University College of Law. During law school, Jason served as Associate Editor for the Willamette Law Review and worked as a court certified clerk in the Marion County District Attorney's office, where he argued numerous misdemeanor and felony juvenile cases. After law school, Jason worked for several years on discovery issues in complex civil litigation matters, including complex class actions, antitrust violations, employment disputes, and construction defect. Jason's family law practice began as an offshoot of this work. When asked about what attracted him to a full-time family law practice, he says, "I found that I truly had a passion for the practice of family law. The issues inherent in this area of the law, including the establishment, maintenance and dissolution of relationships, are present, directly or indirectly, in everyone's lives. Working collaboratively with clients and assisting them through a complex and difficult legal process, one that impacts their lives on a daily basis, is personally fulfilling and gratifying." Prior to joining McKinley Irvin, Jason was an associate attorney at one of Seattle's largest law firms, where he practiced exclusively family law with an emphasis in complex financial issues. "MI offers things that are sometimes missing from a large firm practice - an emphasis on individual attention to each client and his/her unique issues, highly qualified attorneys with a sophisticated and diverse knowledge base, and a collaborative, supportive, and passionate workplace. Basically, MI is the ideal place to practice family law." Publications
