The Perfect Storm: Personality Disorders, High Conflict Divorce and Complex Systems Involvement (Including Court Involvement)

When: 28-Feb-2017 12:00pm - 1:00pm

Where: Century Square Building, 1501 Fourth Avenue, Seattle WA 3rd floor Alki Conference Room

High conflict cases often involve personality disorders, high parental conflict, and complex systems involvement. Often the professionals, attorneys, judges and clinicians can become players in the family drama, so it is important for all professionals to assess whether they are being manipulated by one or both parents and making a bad situation worse. Ms. Buie will discuss how a systems-based perspective and a team approach are essential in working with families in high conflict.
