Complex Assets in Dissolution of Marriage
When: 12-Oct-2017 12:00pm - 1:00pm
Where: Century Square Building, 1501 Fourth Avenue, Seattle WA 3rd floor Alki Conference Room
Asset analysis and division can present difficult issues in a dissolution
proceeding. This is particularly the case when practitioners come across
more complex assets for which they do not have any experience or limited
experience. This presentation will discuss how to address issues related
to complex assets in a divorce matter, including, but not limited to,
pension and retirement accounts, investment accounts, closely-held businesses,
real estate, and tracing of separate property.
Presented by Blake Hilty, Partner, Socius Law Group
Blake is a partner at Socius Law Group and works in the matrimonial law
practice group. His practice focuses on divorce cases involving complex
financial matters. Blake has advised numerous clients in cases involving
the division of business interests, investment portfolios, intellectual
property, and real property.
