This session will focus on the lawyer grievance and discipline process administered by the Washington State Bar Association, emphasizing ethical considerations and best practices and approaches from the lawyer’s perspective when responding to a grievance.

Presented by Douglas J. Ende, Chief Disciplinary Counsel, Washington State Bar Association

Douglas J. Ende is the Chief Disciplinary Counsel at the Washington State Bar Association in Seattle. He is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University and the University of Washington School of Law. From 2013 to 2016 he served two terms on the Board of Directors of the National Organization of Bar Counsel.
