Paralegal - Family Law - Portland, OR

Why did you become a paralegal?

No, don’t tell me, let me guess. It’s because you can handle a pile of details, without losing your sense of humor. It’s also because you understand the intricacies of local jurisdictions and filing rules. And, most of all, you became a paralegal because you care deeply about providing outstanding service to both the attorneys you support and your clients.

There are lots of places where you can be a paralegal. Many of them are awesome. Some of them even recognize the value that you bring and even cherish your part in bringing high quality legal services to clients who need someone on their side.

We happen to be one of those places.

It is our hope that, by not bombarding you with the same exact job ad that you will find scattered all over, and speaking directly to WHY you do this vital work, those among you who value the same things we do will be excited about this and respond.

Of course, you need to have at least a couple of years’ experience as a paralegal, ideally with a family law or at least complex litigation background. We need you to have a keen understanding of case management in Oregon, and if you have also worked in Washington, that’s huge.

Beyond that, we won’t bore you with the same recitation of requirements. You’re a professional. You can do the research. Look at our website. Learn about us. Read what we write about and who we hire. Prowl our LinkedIn page and get to know some of the outstanding folks who already work here. And then, if it all makes you nod and feel excited about exploring it further, then submit your cover letter and resume here.

We look forward to hearing from you!
