Legal Research Intern - Seattle
Our highly respected and client-focused law firm is looking for a Legal Research Intern to work in support of our firm’s founder. The focus of this internship will be research and writing regarding law practice regulation in the U.S. and other countries, alternative legal business structures, the business of law, legal education, and the future of the legal profession.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a student who is looking for internship experience focused on research and writing, with the flexibility to work remotely on a variety of topics, and gaining valuable learning from the experience.
To be considered for this internship, we would like the following:
- At least in 2 nd year of study in an accredited law school
- In top 20% of class; transcripts will be required, and legal writing grades must be high
- Minimum 3.4 undergraduate GPA
- Law review experience is preferred
This work will be done remotely, with occasional visits to our downtown Seattle office for discussions or assistance. So in addition to the above, candidates must be strong communicators, great with email and Word, flexible, and personable.
This internship will be paid at $15.00 per hour, and can fit into your class schedule, with an expectation of no more than approximately 20 hours per week during the school year. This is an ongoing internship, with the potential to continue through the summer, depending on interest and aptitude.
